Amabito no Moshio salt is made in salt houses in an old historic fishing village on the island of Kami-kamagari. The process consists of combining hand harvested seaweed dried in the open air with brine rich seawater. The seaweed-seawater tea is then evaporated and crystalized. The crystals are removed and hand sieved resulting in uniform salt grains. Mild, sweet, salty, dry fine grains are an excellent seasoning for enhancing the delicate flavors of light cuisine. The savory umami saltiness pairs especially well with seafood.

I like this salt. It has the taste of the sea in it. It's a milder salt than most, making it perfect for seasoning salads and fish.
